Montserrat College of Art is dedicated to giving Illustration students the opportunity to develop their conceptual and technical skills in visual communication. The combination of great artwork and wisely chosen ideas is the formula for an illustrator's success in communicating with pictures for books, magazines, sequential art, movies, websites, gaming and more. Montserrat's Illustration concentration is designed to give students expertise in creating and understanding pictures, which inform, enthrall and provoke their audiences. The drawing, painting and media skills of the illustrator are first and foremost vehicles for their creativity and imaginations.
